Smart and effective lighting - use daylight to illuminate the night

Sharp’s Solar Amenity Lighting generates no CO2 emissions. During the day, it uses its photovoltaic solar panel to generate electricity which is being stored in storage batteries. At night, integrated batteries power the incredibly efficient LED lamp, capable to power the light for 5 to 7 days without exposure to sunlight.

Efficient longlife light source - Sharp's LED light

Sharp's LED lamps produce an output of 1800 lumen - one of the brightest in the LED industry - with a luminous efficiency of over 50 lumen/W. Sharp's LED lamps have long lifetime of over 40,000 hrs, which is much longer comparing to high pressure sodium lamps (20,000 hrs) and mercury-vapour lamps (10,000 hrs).
